Acer aspire mouse frozen

My acer aspire mouse has just ffroze in the middle of my screen is there a button sumwhere to stop this or please can u help me fix it

    hi its not a computer its a laptop so i reallyy cant see wot the problem with it is?
    is there a buttoon which maybe switches the mouse on and off?
    ive restarted it and it still wont move! x

    ha ha ive done it thank you so very much!
    it was f7 its got a screen with a hand on it i held it down for about 5 seconds an its bak to normal now!

    is the computer responding to anything?
    Try to push the windows button (between the alt and ctrl keys in the bottom left corner and let me know what happens

You have to restart the computer. Press the windows button then use the arrow keys and highlight the shut down button and press enter. Before you do this however make sure the mouse is plugged in the back of the computer. This should fix the problem..

    well i can't find a picture but if you look on your F-keys F1,F2,F3, etc.. Is there a little picture that looks like a mouse with two buttons on it?

reset by going to start and tiping in word mouse it will bring your mouse settings up and change settings from there you might have to restart system first so mouse will move.

Acer aspire 5732z MOUSE PAD IS FROZEN.


Yes, there is a button right at the top with a picture of a hand. Sort of a pointing finger action. That will enable and disable touchpad. It is near the power button I believe

Are you using a mouse or the touch pad? Make sure the touch pad is turned on.

Acer laptop 5517 mouse frozen in middle of screen. I've restarted. That didn;t help


push the button on left side of power button and the mouse working again, this button disable the mouse for some reason when you touch the power button you touch this button accidentaly..good luck...

FROZEN CURSOR


Sounds like the touch pad is not working anymore. try using a USB mouse and see if that works. also, see if you can reinstall the touch pad software to fix that.

reinstall your touchpad drivers, and make sure it is not switched off (if you were using an extra mouse)

have you tried updating the driver
or go to control panel and mouse and check the settings in there
does your laptop work with a normal mouse
