Re: DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TURN ON MY SIDEKICK PLEASE...
This is a very simple solution if someone hasn't told you the answer yet.... just hold your sidekick right side up then flip it as if you were putting it on a table and then there will be a button with 2 arrows and then 1 with what looks as a dot hold in the button with the do until you see the screen start to light up

First request the phone's IMEI code by contacting customer service for T-Mobile. If you've been a customer long enough, T-Mobile may send the IMEI code, or the code identifying the specific phone, in a few days.Turn off the Sidekick Slide. Remove T-Mobile's SIM card, which is located near the battery. Insert the new provider's SIM card.Turn the Sidekick Slide back on. The phone will detect the new code and ask for the IMEI code. Enter the code. Now the Sidekick will operate using the new network.
Yes I have a friend that works for T Mobile and he is at my work right now and that is what he told me so I know that it is the sim card. Even though it works in other phones the config is bad for your phone
Al right what you want to do is go to a T-mobile store and regester your device... But then the only way to do that is getting the sidekick plain with them and when there will be a G instead of the phone icon... When you turn your phone off then back you will be able to put a username and password on it...
