Hoover troubleshooting

Hi! Try these quick and easy steps to get the water from your hose to spray.

Assemble the hose to the unit.

While holding the hose at an angle towards the ground, pump the trigger about 30 times. Turn the cleaner on then squeeze the trigger for 30 seconds.

If the water is still not dispensing there may be soap residue bulid-up clogging the nozzle/valve. Try soaking the trigger end in warm water for a couple hours, then repeating the steps above.

If the cleaner is still not dispensing from the hose but dispenses from the unit, a replacement hose may be needed. Follow the link below to order a replacement hose for your cleaner. Search Results

Cant get my soap dispenser hose working on my karcher winner 10, any suggestion?, lost my instructions manual so dont know weather i need to be doing anything for it!

If you have not yet found a solution, then here are some steps to take.
1. The soap dispenser only works on low pressure!!!!!!! So you have to REMOVE the high pressure Sprayer so that all you use is the Trigger Gun without the Extender.
2. Pull out the thin Plastic Hose with the filter attached in the end, and insert into your container of detergent.
It will only splatter the detergent over the area you want to clean, so you will then need to REATTACH the SPRAYER into the hand gun to work with the soap to lather, clean and spray of till clean.
This seems to be the way the system works on this model......also known as K2.36M (AU) in Australia or (EU) in Europe on the Karcher.com.au site then Service then Manuals. or on the link below.
Hope this helps any of you who has misplaced their Owners Manual just like I did and had a great problem trying to find a link as Karcher doesn't recognize the Model No: as Winner 10 or 11.

Cheers, Luke

CLEANER WON'T DISPENSE--I HAVE SOAKED... NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK

You either have a clogged tube or the trigger assembly is bad and will not allow the soap to dispense.

No solution is spraying out when i press the trigger

I had somewhat the same problem.... I had water comming out but the solution was not comming out.... I called bissell and the woman talked me through it.... first put in water only mode,,,,, then Fill water tank with fresh water and put back in place,,,, then remove soap dispenser put to the side,,,, now , power on your cleaner,,,, for the next steps, do this exactly as I tell you >>>>>>hold down the trigger that releases soap the whole time you do the following>>>>>> switch between water only and heavy traffic four times,,,, all while while holding the trigger, then still holding the trigger, stop on high traffic the fourth time, leave it there,,, now put the soap bottle back in,,,,, still holding the trigger and hold the trigger down for exactly one minute after you replace soap bottle,,,, you should start seeing the soap come out........ (make sure its on floor cleaning and not TOOLS) Hope this helps and if it does,,,, give these instructions to someone else in this help area.........

Soap from dispenser will not release into carpet cleaner.

These are two different problems the first could be a clogged heater soap coagulates in the heater passages and clogs the flow of water to see if this is indeed the problem turn the unit on and try and spray water with the top trigger (floor nozzle) then try to spray at the hand nozzle if you get water at the hand nozzle but not the floor nozzle it is the heater. The hand nozzle water bypasses the heater. Also check the solution or soap tank if you pull it out and there is not red seal on the bottom it may be stuck in the machine and won't create a good seal check to see if it is still in the hole where the tank inserts. As for the unit not turning on that could be a number of issues cord, switch or just over heated. Visit www.stevessewandvac.com for any parts or questions about this machine or any other.

Will not dispense water or solution

On the bottom of the tank is a valve, push it in and see if water comes out Where the tank sits, there is a black round seal, is it in the proper place? The rod in the handle hits just under that seal, with the tank off, you can see if the rod is movin up and down when you depress the trigger. The resevior asm. may be bad, that is what the tank sits on.

Bissell pro heat cleaner

This could be due to dried out soap in the works below the dispenser. Try cleaning the hole, putting plain water in the soap dispenser to clean it out further. You could just put some soap in with the water. Be sure to run lots of rinse water through afterward to clean out the heating unit.
