I may be able to help you. Is this the Wurlitzer princess jukebox which holds 120 CDs? If so, the problem is most likely with the clamper which opens and closes to grip the CDs. If so, email me and I can give you detailed troubleshooting information and repair advice. Rod Stebelton, tech@wurlitzer-ohio.com.

Tape gets stuck inside while recording, it's fine while playing or rewinding. I think it get inside the Recording head or something. It also wrinkles the tape and makes the sound like warped

hello, i would suggest manually cleaning the heads, capstan and pinch roller. This requires only isopropol alchohol and q-tips.The metal post coming out is the capstan , if its brown than you will want to clean it back to chrome, above it is the pinch roller clean that as well. Finally there are your heads simply clean the tops of both . Sometimes old tapes become tacky and sticky so consider the age of your cassette as well.

The CD player in my Pure Legato 2 system won;t register CDs, the last few times I listened to CDs they skipped a bit, now it won't play them at all, it just reads 'no CD'.

I have fixed this problem in 2 Legatos. But don't attempt this if you have no experience with electrical equipment.
You need to open the case (4 screws deeply recessed in the back panel, 3 screws securing the speaker terminals and the phono socket block, and the nut and plastic washer holding the aerial socket. Gently ease the rear panel back enough to access the rear of the CD mechanism. Under the CD laser assembly carriage, there is a small trim pot (with a yellow cross-head adjuster screw). I found a small anticlockwise adjustment got the CD player working again. (I assume this trimmer increases the gain of the optical sensor amp.) Secure the rear panel before powering on again to test. It may require a little trial and error to recover the full functionality of the CD.
Good luck.

CD changer eject button does not work. Three discs are inside. Changer works. Good sound is produced. But unable to eject disc changer to change discs.

Inspect the tray or door to see if there is a very small hole in it. If so, this is an 'emergency' ejection hole and a standard paper clip, unfolded, can be inserted there to manually eject the tray. This is a real common problem caused by the slippage of a clutch mechanism that is supposed to protect the tray mechanics from being damaged if the tray is somehow impeded during its travel.  It must be tougher than rocket science to properly design this feature -

Cd tray won't open

In the front side of the dvd drive you will see a small hole ...so to eject that cd put one niddle in that hole and .
Now press the button at just after that apply a force on niddle .suddenly you will notice that cd will come outside ,if not try more times and you will learn to eject the cd when you are unable to do it by pressing the eject button...

Sound Cutting Out

We also had this same problem, make sure all speaker wires are correctly connected and have no breaks as any wire problems will cause amplifier to cut out. The system works fine now and also plays from the pc without any cut off. Hope this helps.
