Re: Unable to pinch CD, when selection is made.
I may be able to help you. Is this the Wurlitzer princess jukebox which holds 120 CDs? If so, the problem is most likely with the clamper which opens and closes to grip the CDs. If so, email me and I can give you detailed troubleshooting information and repair advice. Rod Stebelton, email@example.com.

of the 30 series errors say that the carriage is not free to move from
side to side across the paper. You need to look close on each side of
the machine where the carriage travels to see if there's a paper scrap
stopping it. Also the encoder strip could be out of the slot in the
carriage assembly. If all is OK you need a shop repair to determine if
the logic or carriage pcb's are OK.
That error 36 - means "Head/carriage unit travel error" , if the printer is still under warranty, have it serviced. But if its out of warranty try to find any obstacles on the travel path of the head/carriage unit. If you cant find anything, it only means you need to replace some parts.

Any of the 30 series errors say that the carriage is not free to move from side to side across the paper. The carriage is the unit that holds your ink cartridges, usually parked on the right side. When you have carriage stall or carriage jam you usually need to clean the clear plastic strip that runs across behind the carriage assembly, and make sure there are no scraps stopping the travel of the carriage.
Most likely, the problem is not with the margins. The most common fault (loosing margins) is caused by the carrier binding on the shaft that it travels on. Solution:
Turn off the power
Locate the shaft that the carrier travels on (usually about 1/2 to 3/4 in. diameter, chrome shaft in the middle or lower/rear of the open area that the printer travels back-and-forth in).
Apply a few drops of 10 weight oil acroos the shaft and wipe with a cloth. Move the carrier manually to the right side of machine and repeat the prosess on the left side of shaft. Lubricate some more and repeat the process. NOTE: 3 in 1 oil is OK. . WD 40 IS NOT
Unable to print is usually a paper jam either in the far right or the far left of the carriage assembly, you need a flashlight to inspect for paper scraps caught at either end of the carriage travel area.
sounds like the carriage is coming of the connector and that usually happens when the cariage travels to far and bumps the power head of the machine that split second **** is enough to unhook it fro the carriage because the next motion would be coming down and probably without the door attached to the connector , and by connector i mean the other half of the carriage Remedie ;; adjust the open door travel to not come up as high let it stop about 2 inches before the machine and that should fix-it , Thank you and hopefully i was able to help you please leave a good rating if i was able to help Sincerely Glenn Mayer ....mayer overhead door co,
If the print carriage is stuck on the far left, gently try to turn the gears a few turn and if you are lucky enough the print carriage will go back to the right.
This is what I did and it is working fine now.
One thing importan, be "gentle" it is easy to break.
