Question about Mag Innovision LT576s 15" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
When I turn on the monitor it displays the image perfectly for about 30 seconds during which there is a slight buzzing sound. Then the screen goes black with just a faint ghost of the image on the screen. Once the screen goes black, the buzzing stops. I bought the monitor used (the guy said it worked perfect and had no defects or problems) and it has a universal 12VDC power supply that came with it. The back of the monitor says 12VDC 4.0A so it should compatible. It did not come with a vga adapter so I'm using a replacement shielded vga m/m adapter. I've tried the monitor on my desktop computer and on my laptop with the same results.
I have an IBM LCD that shows perfect image for 15 seconds or more and then goes blank. any suggestion how I can pin point the problem.

Replace the monitor. CRT monitiors are CHEAP! large screen CRT are easier on the eyes and CHEAP! you should not need a vga adapter, use the computers video, if its an on board. good luck. Canada.
