The world is upside down, the king has lost his crown, don't laugh please, my monitor screen suddenly got upside down.

Rotating the screen image is a feature of the graphics card and is normally caused by accidentally pressing a combination of keys. To correct it, hold down Ctrl and Alt and press one of the four arrow keys (up, down, left or right) until you have it the correct way up.

As your screen is completely upside down, hold down Ctrl and Alt and press the Up arrow key.

Alternatively, you probably have a Rotation setting in the display properties of the graphics card. You should be able to reach your graphic card settings, but reading and setting them properly may be difficult since everything you see on the screen is upside down until it's fixed.

If all else fails, try restoring the system to an earlier date when the display was right. This will reset the driver to its proper orientation.

I have t.v monitor power acoustic model number hd-7bg and the picture plays upside diwn how do I fix this prob

The problem MAY be in the setup in the computer. Some of the display programs have settings that allow one to invert the image when used with a video projector that is hung upside down from the ceiling. Check if your software might be set to do this.

An upside down image - this is caused by unintentionalpressing Ctrl-Alt plus the down arrow key. Restore by pressing Ctrl-Alt plus the up arrow key. ALSO To change the display from portrait to landscape Press Ctrl-Alt plus a left or right arrow key.

Image is up side down

Hi!

Basically it sounds like the screen has been configured to flip the display along the horizontal axis. The purpose for this is usually for hanging a screen from a roof or stand etc. where it would be technically upside-down.

Check the settings on your monitor. Usually there is a Menu button you can press..what you're looking for is "Display Options" or perhaps even "Advanced Settings". Look at these options & see if anything jumps out at you..hopefully it'll be obvious.

Is it upside down even when you first boot the computer up? Or just when actually log in to Windows?

I'd need to know the make/model of your monitor to give you specific instructions but I've seen this once before when I worked at a hospital (a mental patient had messed with a doctors computer which I found quite funny at the time)...

Hope this helps :)

Display is completely upside down

Try connecting it to a different computer. If it's upside-down on another computer, then the panel is probably mounted upside-down. If it can be removed from the stand, remove it and see if it can be mounted the other way.

If it's correct on another computer, then your graphics settings are incorrect. Assuming you're running Windows, go to Display Properties, Settings tab, click Advanced button, look for a tab describing your video adapter (usually ATI or NVIDIA). In the video adapter's setup there is usually a Rotation option. The rotation option may be set to 180-degrees instead of Normal or 0-degrees.
