Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

350 sheet auxilliary tray for the 7310

HP recently replaced my 7310 under warranty with a 7680. It had the additional tray which they didn't want. If you know of anyone that can use one in good condition they can have it for the cost of shipping and handling, along with 3 unused black printer cartridges.
If you don't have anyone interested at present, keep the info for about 30 days. After that I'll pitch the tray and give the cartridges to Office depot and get $3 each for them.

Thanks.
George

    Hi George,

So the cartridges and tray are for your 7310 or the L7680? Or tray from L7680 and cartridges from 7310?

Ok - George can you email me the particulars listed above? I have a 7310 and am looking at getting the L7590 which has no extra tray and would be very interested in paying the shipping.

Email is membershipemail@yahoo.ca

Thank you!!

We have a laserjet 2420dn which prints fine from Tray 1 but constantly jams when printing from Tray 2. It only prints OK from tray 2 when there is ONE sheet in the tray. I changed the pickup roller in...

In addition to the pickup roller, the separation pad in the tray should also be replaced. This pad keeps more than one sheet from feeding at a time. When we do maintenance on a printer we always replace both to stop this from happening. The part number you want is RM1-1298-000. It is used in quite a few different HP printers.

My Hp 7310 will not turn on, we purchased a new power source an when it was plugged in, there was a quick pop and it would not work

Pop could have been internal power source exploding. If the printer is new or under warranty, return it. If it's old, you're probably better off buying a new one.

My HP OJ 7310 all-in-one did not pick up papers.

the first ting I would do is clean the paper feed rollers with a cotton pad and alcohol. The rollers may have a build up of paper dust that are makind the rollers slip.

7310 Cartidge Change Issue

You can download the drivers and utility software for the Officejet 7310 from HP's site here or you can run a cleaning cycle from the front panel - select setup and cycle through the choices.

It sounds like you have a defective cartridge, most common with remanufactured cartridges. If it is an HP original you can check the two year warranty as shown here. If the HP oriinal cartrdige is defective and still in its warranty period you can return it to your dealer or contact HP for a replacement. If the cartrdige is a store brand or some other remanufactured cartridge contact your delaer for a replacement.

Cartridge holder

Every printer uses specific cartridges, that are designed to fit exactly and be controlled properly by the printer. You may be able to get the printer replaced if it is still under warranty, and you can convince HP that this is an issue caused by a manufacturer's problem. Otherwise, see the page below regarding the individual printer.
