Xbox Live is having problems guys they are working on it and hope to have it fixed sometime this week the problem you guys are having is due to the xbox live being down. Although it isnt completely down they are having gameing issues as well as download issues and voicemail issues. Your Elite should of came with a transfer kit. If it didn't call 18004myxbox and they will send you one for free. You should be able to move all of your files from your old HD to the new one, then your DL content should work fine.

Well depending on when you were trying they may have passed but the amount of information that was trying to run through your internet may not have been able to go through so in turn that may be the cause is your internet, if that is not the case and you have restarted the modem and everything I would call 1 800 4 MY XBOX and get some help with the xbox live they are very helpful.

Yes, I believe yuo will have a gold account but I may be mistaken. Try to sign up for a silver(free)account and look for netflix when logged in(it's under the video section)
