Re: after all is installed,am still confused?

First enter the BIOS setup and check to see the boot order for devices is correct. I suggest you use a set up that looks at a CD/DVD rom first then the primary hard disc (C:) Regarding the Network card. Ensure the drivers are installed correctly and the device shows up in the device manager as "working properly". Also whilst in the BIOS, check to see the onboard LAN is ON. Try pinging the IP address of the router. If you get a return the device is working and problem lies in communicating between the router and the outside world. Whils pinging, do the green and amber lights flash? Do you have TCP/IP installed and setup for your machine? If you still have problems check also that your cable is the required type, either patch cable or straight through. The wrong type will render communications impossible.

Hi I'm running XP pro SP 2 on a MS9121 motherboard and when I shut down my PC, alomst everytime, the system reboots and starts again. The only solution consists in turning off the back switch and I...

This issue may occur if the following conditions are true:
  • You have "automatically restart" selected.
  • The Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.0 or Direct CD 5.0 program is installed on your computer.
uninstall Roxio Easy CD Creator and install again without Direct CD.

Second Option:
Have you turned off APM? If not, right-click desktop, select screen saver tab, click "power" button under monitor power, select APM tab, uncheck "enable APM support." I did that and the system shuts down no problem.

Third option
  1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  2. On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
  3. Clear the Automatically restart check box under System failure, and then click OK. The error message should remain on the screen so that you can record the error information.

The computer screen is turned upside down. How do I turn it back around?

If you are running Windows 7 right click on your desktop, click on Screen Resolution, then change the orientation setting to the desired setting (which is likely landscape)

If you are running Windows XP Click "Start," then "Control Panel," "Display," the "Setting" tab, and then the "Advanced" button. Check for an "Orientation" option. Select your desired orientation

Graphics card problem?

You are pushing the hardware you have. Is your board, processor, power supply ample enough? It is best to check running processes and programs to see if you are spiking your systems ability to perform.

Compatible CPU

check the winfast website for a cpu support list for your model of motherboard, that will tell you if it supports it and ALSO if you need to update the bios to support later cpu's, i'd imagine your using the old socket A standard, see if your motherboard is listed here> (this is what is now listed in google as winfast and does show winfast boards), please advise if you get stuck anymore.
