Display on handset of Calisto Pro Series D150 is blank
The display on the handset of my phone has suddenly gone blank, so I am unable to see menu information, etc., (including whether the phone is muted or not). It worked correctly yesterday and didn't when I answered a call earlier today.

Remove the battery from the device for sometime.also clean the socket where the battery is inserted and then reinsert it again and check out.if still the same problem the battery most probably needs replacing.still get it checked by a mechanic it can be internal circuit problem also.

If your handset will not deregister, before registering it on a base. Here are the steps;
It will display "Test Base" arrow up to "Test Handset"
Press Menu/Select It will display "SW Version"
Arrow up to "next page"
Menu/Select to display "Regstr Clear"
Menu/Select to display "Reg Clear?"
Menu/Select you should hear a beep.
Unplug battery and wait 10 seconds. Lug in battery and place phone in base to register it.
No other handset can be in use when you register new handsets.
Worked great for my 3 handsets that were registered to a base that went bad.
On another working handset do the following;
Scroll and select the handset you want to deregister
Confirm you want to deregister
"Deregister" screen will display and handset will be deregistered
We have two of the Calistro Pros and they will lose contact all the time for no apparent reason. Most of the time when I walk to far away from the handset they will beep and there will be the "OUT OF RANGE" will display. I have found that while sitting next to the phone press the ear piece switch straight in. You will hear a series of tones either getting louder or going from high to low. Wait a few seconds after pressing the ear piece switch and then look at the hand set. the No Headset circle should dissaper. If not depress the earpiece switch and listing for the tones again. Wait again and they will find each other. If this does not help you then I think you have a phone issue. I use my for 8 hours a day and have to do this several times a day. I hope this helps.
Hi Dan, Yes it is a very nice system, but like any device it is sensitive to electrical storms and power fluctuations. A surge or sag (AC power going up or down), can cause the sensitive digital chips to get damaged, and from my experience if you have tried resetting the unit, and your msg lites continue to flicker and the LCD is blank, it has some serious damage and needs repair or replacement.
