Unlock bios #1234567-595b dell laptop c400

Hi marcellanam,

I see you need to have your BIOS unlocked.

Only dell unlock your BIOS for you call DELL and get assistance on unlocking your BIOS, you can ge that to a computer shop but it will cost you and will most likely be done in a different way and may change many things on your Dell machine.

I strongly suggest that you call Dell for the BIOS to be unlocked all you have to do is call Dell and give them the systems service TAG number so they can give you the unlock code for the BIOS.

I hope this helps.

It says enter unlock password what is it

Acer locks down the BIOS on there computers. The unlock password it is asking for is probably the password to unlock the BIOS. If you do not know what the BIOS is or why you would need in it, it is best to leave it alone and ignore the message. Also, from some quick research, unlocking the BIOS may void your warranty.

I have problem with the lock paswerd

If you have a BIOS level Password (Before Windows) contact Dell Tech support (800-624-9896 USA) confirm ownership and they can assist in clearing the password.

If it is a Windows Password, you will most likely have to either remember the password, boot to admin account in Safe mode (If XP Home) and change the password there, or reinstall windows
