If you have wireless there should be an icon in your taskbar usually looks like a small tv
right click open view wireless connections if you see any connections on that page highlight then at bottom click connect
If you do not see any connections or says none are available on the same page left side you'll see refresh network list you may need to do this a few times
once there is a connection on the page highlight one of them and click connect.
Please let me know if this helped

Printer won't turn off

Check the power supply cords; make sure they are attached properly. If you are using a power strip, surge protector or any other device where the power supply cord is not plugged directly into a wall outlet, bypass them and plug the printer into a wall outlet; see if that changes anything.
If that doesn't work, remove the printer's power cord from the outlet and all the other cables that the printer connects to the computer to.
Wait 5 or 10 minutes for the printer's CMOS and RAM chips to power off completely.
After enough time has elapsed, plug only the printer's power cord into the wall outlet (do not hook up any of the communication cables in e.g. USB, or serial cables, or network cables.)
Then press the power "on" button.

If the error message is gone, power off the printer.
Uninstall the printer and all its programs from the computer.
Do a clean install and follow the procedures of hooking up the printer as though you are installing it for the very 1st time.

You may have to obtain firmware and/or software updates from HP on your specific printer.

You may also have to check with your OS vendor to make sure you have all the updates/service packs on your PC or laptop

I wish to use internet for my wii yet my alltel wireless huawei cannot connect directly. ive tried using a lan adapter hooked into the wii and an ethernet cable hooked from that to a router, then using...

Turn on the wii, go to settings, go over until you see stuff about internet... select it and from there add your network, type in your password, put your encryption type, and security like WPA or WEP...... You just have to make that your connection and click test connection if everything goes through select use network and enjoy internet on your wii = )

Can't get router to connect to Dell Dimension 2400 desktop

Try turning OFF DHCP from services. This may fix your problem. Look for "DHCP Client", double click on it (or right click and choose properties), STOP the service, then set it's startup type to 'manual'. That'll kill it. See DHCP is what "Gives out/assigns addresses" and on the ONLY PC, it is the First one... 192.168.0.1... Both PC's will be assigning themselves as that, and that will cause a conflict. As the Router now does the DHCP work. Of course ensure you DO have DHCP set on router.

Hello, I have a Kenmore 80 Series. Washer and Dryer. Bought it from someone on Craigslist. How do I hook them up? Is there a manual any where out there?

Connect your hot and cold water pipes to the washer. Place the drain pipe into a sink or direct drain feed to your sewer system. Plug it into outlet. Dryer - plug it into your 220 line outlet. If the plug is not the same as your outlet you can find instructions on lline with pics on how to change a 3 prong plug to a 4 prong plug and so on...:)

You can download user manual by clicking Sony Support.

Connecting DVD Player to TV

If the TV doesn't have video/audio input jacks (I don't think this model does) and the DVD player has only video/audio outputs and no RF (channel 3 or 4) output, then you will need an RF converter. They're only about $15 or so. They need to be plugged into an electric outlet, so you may want to get a surge protected outlet strip (if you don't already have one) to plug everything into. Then just hook up the DVD's A/V outputs to the converter and tell Mom to put the TV on channel 3 and make some popcorn.

I just got your messages, looking at the details of your laptop it has a build in wireless so as you have noticed since its working now, you won't need to purchase a adapter for the laptop since it already has one build in.

I'm a little confused how to install this router I just bought. Model #wrt54g2. do I put the cd into my desk top which is already connected to the internet or do I install the cd in the new laptop I just...

Hi sheena -Is your desk top hooked up throgh the router? If not, plug your modem into the wan port on the router. The router should have come with a couple of short cables, most likely blue and yellow. Use the blue to connect your modem to your router. You can check the manual just to be sure. Use the ethernet cable that had been connecting your desk top to your modem, and plug into one of the wired ports on the router. I imagine you'll be using wireless for your laptop. Make sure that it is on. Put the cd in your desk top and run from there. Follow the directions. If you need more help just add a comment and I'll be glad to assist you further. If this solves your probleb PLEASE rate this as fixed. Remember. Need help? Just holler Sheena.
