Question about Lexmark X5150 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I've installed, uninstalled, and installed again. Still getting the message ''Communication Not Available'', the computer and printer are not talking. I'm at a loss for what to do. I've tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions.
Lexmark X5320 all-in-one printer
I had the same problem with my X5410, installing on Windows Vista. After about 6 hours of working on it I got it resolved.
I uninstalled the Lexmark software from my computer. Start -All programs-Lexmark -uninstall.
I then turned on all components of Windows Firewall. Control Panel - Windows Firewall.
I then re-installed the Lexmark software from the CD.
Hope this works for you !!!

I'm assuming you're trying to connect to the printer over a wireless connection. There could be several things wrong, mostly network issues. One thing that helps in many cases is to give the printer a static IP address. Sometimes, the router doesn't respond fast enough to the DHCP request from the printer, and fails to assign an address. The network setup page might offer additional clues as to what's wrong.
