My Windows Vista SP1 isn't compatible with my Canon PIXMA MP600

How can I get this to work on my computer?

    • I have tried downloading the drivers and software from Canon - it downloaded fine, but my new PC, with Vista, doesn't read the printer at all. I can't print anything - my Canon works fine with my Apple but not with my PC. Does anyone know if there is a way, a download, ect that I can get Vista to read the Canon MP600 ?? I don't have Xp since this is a new computer. Thanks for the help!

Try running it in Compatibility Mode. Open the Program Compatibility Wizard by clicking Start>Control Panel>Programs. Next click Use an older program with this version of Windows and choose XP. Let me know how that works.

You can download the vista drivers here. Under drivers and support then choose your operating system. Make sure to select the correct Vista for your system they have vista and vista 64. You can find which you are running by right clicking on my computer and choosing properties. It is likely normal Vista (Vista 32).
