Re: My cell phone won't connect to my router with out...
You need to download the firmware from linksys.com/download then save on your computer.
To update the firmware, here's the step
1. Open Internet Explorer, type http://192.168.0.1 2. It will prompt your for username and password. Type admin on both. 3. When you get to the router's Setup Page, go to Administration, then click the sub-tab Firmware Upgrade. 4. Browse for the firmware that you downloaded and hit Upgrade button. 5. When its done, power cycle the router. Just unplug it for 10 sec and replug it.

I see that you connect your Mobile phones to your Router, but you ge an error using your Nokia e90.
> try to check the wireless setting for the Router.
>this is possible that the Router is set to provide wireless only to deivces that are registered on the Linksys settings MAC address.
>try and check the setting in the Linksys Router possibly MAC Address Filtering check if it is enabled if it is then that will be the cause, you will just need to get the MAC Address of your E90 phone and register in the Router settings for the wireless to work and be detected by the phone.
Or check to see if he router is set to be discoverable or not by other devices , if it is not set to be discovered or the SSID is hidden then you cn manually input that info on your Mobile phone.
these are the only options in a Router that can cause devices not to detect the router signal right away.
Yes it will work, and yes you need to know your key (WEP) After you connect you have to download "opera" so you can browse the internet though. Your network should appear on your TV screen and it will display your network name (SSID). Select your network and click connect. When asked, type in your network key. Your Wii will then connect.
**I m not able to find a snapshot of the router interface. But i ll tell you what all to do there 1) Disable the router's inbuilt firewall 2) Enable DMZ for your Wii's IP address; assign this same IP address on your Wii manually 3) Change the bandwidth of wireless to 20/40MHz This will surely work
Some older mobile phones don't recognise some of the newer security settings (WPA2, for example).
It might be worth trying a different type of encryption (WPA/PSK or WEP) to see if these work better - obviously this would mean having to reconfigure the wireless connections on the computer and laptop.
Hope this helps.
If you will just use the router for internet via wireless there is no need for you to have a sim card. The sim card is use for the telephone feature on the router, you will be charge based from the providers rates.
your SPA2102-R seems to have one ethernet connection and one internet connection.
your WRT54G-TM seems to have one internet connection and 4 ethernet connections.
What you are trying to achive is; plug a ethernet cable into the ethernet connection on your SPA2102-R then plug the other end into the internet port of the WRT54G-TM
hope this helps, I have assumed that you intend to use a DSL broadband supplier not ADSL.
if you are changing service from DSL to ADSL then your WRT54G-TM needs to be first in line configured and working. then plug the internet port from the SPA2102-R into any of the WRT54G-TM ethernet ports.
