Hi sagarbhat870,

If you can't use your camera it might caused by a missing driver. Here are some ways on how to check if system has a hardware or software failure. You may try to reinstall the camera driver or just activate the camera by pressing the FN+ESC. For the installation of the driver please follow the steps below.

1. Click this link. You will be directed to the support page for the latest driver.

2. Please go to the camera section.

3. Ensure that you will select the driver that matches your operating system.

4. After downloading, install the driver then restart your computer.

5. After rebooting, try to press the FN+ESC to enable the camera.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

How can i enable the sound of my computer?

Start>Control Panel>(Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices>)Sounds and Multimedia (or Audio Devices)

In here go to Audio (tab at the top). On the sound playback device select, "Volume." Move the main audio playback slider up to increase the volume.

If for some reason there are no audio devices listed in the Sound control panel (unlikely), there is a possibility that your audio ports have been disabled (again, unlikely).

Go to your device manager by right-click My Computer (Either located in your start menu or on your desktop) and go to Properties. Now select, "Hardware." In here click the button, "Device Manager."

The device manager should appear. Look at, "Sound, video, and game controllers." If anything in this category is listed as disabled try enabling it, then exit the device manager.

Connecting media center to receiver

Hey there,

Okay let me start with your pc setup. What type of sound card are you using? Are you using onboard? You have to check and see if the sound card or device you are using supports SPDIF passthrough. Basically this does just what it says...passes the surround sound signal through your hardware with no onboard decoding and uses the decoder found on your stereo. I use a soundblaster Audigy and i had to enable passthrough in the audio console. I also had to enable spdif as my default audio playback device. This is in Windows Vista. You also need to go into properties and set the formats your receiver supports. Once that is complete you need to adjust the audio settings in media center and select toslink as your audio output and select 5.1 audio.

Things should work now...BUT...you will only get surround sound audio when watching a source that has dolby 5.1 or DTS. You will not get surround sound in games =( When i watch ota hd shows that have dolby audio, the blue light kicks on in my receiver and i get 5.1 audio. Same goes for watching DVD's. I hope this helps you out

Hello!
im affraid to answer your question because in most cases you will rate me " thanks for trying" it hurt me but it's ok because i want to help you.

First install the driver of your "sound blaster X-Fi extreme audio notebook card" the Utility cd is enclosed in it. after that Hook your speaker to the output of the newly installed card. and then go to control panel , double click the "sounds and audio devices" and then in the "audio tab" and in sound playbak. select the device according to your sound card.

You can adjust some setting there and click ok.

may this solve your problem.
