Question about Indesit 24 in. D63 Free-standing Dishwasher

Indesit D63 Diashwasher Trips Electrics

Had the dishwasher for 3 - 4 years, never any problems.
Last night during a cycle all the plug socket electrics went off in the house - investigated & isolated it to the dishwasher.
changed the fuse & turned on - exactly the same happened - all plug socket electrics went off.
before the dishwasher blew it was making a funny noise (never made it before) possible a straining pump or motor noise? definitely sounded like it was coming from the bottom/back.
which bit is broken? will i be better off jst buying a new one?

I have the exact same issue. It was making a weird rumbling/throbbing sound and wasn't moving on through the cycle properly.

After manually notching it on a few times it cut out, and now does so whenever we turn it on.

Noise may be coming from faulty parts, but it also may be caused by improperly loaded dishes. heck your owner's manual for proper loading methods. Next, when the dishwasher is completely cool, look in the openings around the pump at the bottom of the dishwasher's interior be sure no implements or hard debris such as bones, fruit pits, or silverware are stuck in them.

Be sure your dishwasher is sitting level. Adjust the feet beneath the unit by screwing them up or down. If there are lock nuts on the feet, make sure they are tight.

A thumping or chattering sound during the filling cycle usually indicates that the inlet valve needs to be replaced. Unless you're handy with this sort of repair, this is a job for a repairperson.

My Indesit D63 dishwasher won't close. There is still power to the machine and when you hold the door shut the cycle starts but the door doesn't click shut.

Make sure that the top shelf slides back fully into position. If the flow nozzle does not fully engage onto the water supply jet at the rear of the shelf this prevents the door from closing fully. Sometimes this can be caused by the gasket wearing and preventing engagement this rubber ring is easily replaced and can be fitted by a novice
