This is a direct quote when I asked about a timing belt on a 99 passat

"The timing should be Good unless you have Problems with a Rough Idle."

the person has an 85% accuracy rating, so he seems to know what he is talking about. however, if its of major concern to you, its better to replace it before it snaps, adding more money to the repair.

How to replace temperature sensor in vW golf citi 1.4i 2006

I am driving VW Citi golf sport 1.4i,every morning whn is cold my car couldn't start, after many attempts it would and when I try to accelerate it will choke. After buying the temperature sensor my problem was solved. the mechanics advised me to buy petrol filter and petrol gauge regulator and a petrol pump, thanks I didn't buy them. Only a temperature sensor made my car a comfortable drive.

Not sure if cambelt has been replaced on my 1999 vw golf gti it has just turned 100.000 km and was imported at 70.000km . I have just bought the car . Is there a light that comes on on the dash board to...

No light for that. This is a fairly expensive procedure on most VWs so it probably has not been changed. I hesitate to suggest this, but the timing belt will probably be ok long past 100,000 km. My current timing belt on a Ford F150 has well over 200,000 miles on it.

Are all petrol tanks the same size or does it go on the size of ur engine .

Assuming you are asking are all Petrol tanks same size on VW Golfs... if thats the question then the answer is YES..The engine size does not affect the Petrol tank size only consumption (kilometers per litre/ or miles per gallon depending your location...assumed since you called it Petrol you are European) The different YEAR models would have different capacities and or shapes depending on configuration of the vehicle.. but the Golfs didnt go under much design change from 99-2002 so you should be safe if looking for a replacement.
