Try going to www.hp.com and let the website auto-detect your printer and download the drivers automatically.

Purchased OfficeJet G55 10 Years ago . how do I get driver updates? Registerd this product with different email and cannot remember it

You need to have a look here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?l=en-us&type=Hardware&s=OfficeJet%20G55

If you are using Windows 7, your machine will not operate.

You can check the manufacturers web site if you are using a different Operating System ... it is an old printer, however.

I have Hp office jet G55...and im using windows 7. windows itself installed all the drivers required.i am able to scan .it is showing a message saying "troubleshoot required". how to solve it

A full feature software and driver package for Windows 7 is not available for your product. However, the Windows 7 operating system installed on your computer contains a basic driver solution for your product. With the basic driver, some of the advanced product features are not available. That is the reason it shows you the message saying "troubleshoot required" With this basic driver, the buttons on the product do not function and some of the advanced product features are not available.

Hope you are satisfied with the reply.

All of a sudden my HP Officejet G55 printer began to give the following error message: "Error: Incorrect Color Cartridge Installed" (which is not true). Could you please help.

I had the same problem. It went away when I reset the printer by holding the 'cancel' button for a while as I was turning it on.

I found this by trial and error, but it seemed to work . . .

Hello, i have lost my installation cd or hp g55. Where can i find the install download for vista?

There is no drivers downloadable for Vista for G55. Drivers are included in Vista standard installation.
If you have installed XP drivers by mistake, do a system restore to a date before installing drivers for the first time.
Here directions to install drivers for G55 on Vista.
Here G55 download page, you won't find Vista drivers, they had never been distributed.HP Officejet g55 All-in-One Printer series

Double sided printing

To fix this issue, select on the start button on the bottom left of your screen then click on Control Panel. In Control Panel click on printers. Left click on the OfficeJet G55 printer once then right click on it and select Properties. Click on the Printing Preferences button then on that window that pops-up select on the Finishing tab. If you have the correct drivers installed, you will find an option there (a check box) to enable to print to both sides. Check that if you have it.

Hope this solves your problem. Let us know if it don't.

Thanks.

HP officeject G55 prints the same page over and over

I understand that your HP G55 prints the same page again and again. * Restart Spooler: To resolve the issue, restart the spooler by following these steps: 1. Click Start, and then Control Panel. a. For Category View: 1. Click Performance and Maintenance. 2. Click Administrative tools. 3. Double-click Services. b. For Classic view: 1. Double-click Administrative Tools. 2. Double-click Services. 2. Locate print spooler on the list, right-click and choose Restart. A progress message will appear and the spooler should be clear. You should now be able to print or remove the printer driver as required.
