Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.
Hope this helps. Bud

Hello, The battery compartment is located at the bottom of your mouse. Chances are that you need one AAA battery to replace it.

Lost operating instrutions, does this take a battery

if it is wired (USB) no battery, if it is a wireless mouse then yes of course it has a battery, it would be on the bottom of the mouse under a small door most likely.

Battery compartment for wireless mini optical mouse

This sounds like the mouse I just bought. If you look closely at the mouse, you'll notice a small gap that sort of divides the top of the mouse from the bottom. Hold the mouse as if you are going to use it then slide your fingers down past that gap. Gently push down and pull at the same time and the battery compartment is just underneath. Of course, when you drop it a couple of times, the battery compartment opens and the batteries roll out, lost forever :)

Microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 1024`

I have a Microsoft wireless optical mouse 3000. There is a silver button on the end of the mouse that usually faces you when using the mouse. Press that silver button- while holding the button in, use your fingernail or something to help with gently lifting the main panel on the top part of the mouse. Lift up on the end of the panel that is closest to the silver button. The panel comes entirely off, revealing the inset battery. It took me a while to figure it out since I installed the first battery.. it has lasted over a year. Hope this helps with yours. Have a blessed day!

Batteries replacement

The piece of plastic where your palm would rest on the mouse is the compartment for the batteries. Locate the piece of plastic with the GE logo on it. You need to slide that piece of plastic away from the direction of the mouse buttons. You will then be able to put the batteries inside and slip the piece of plastic back on.
