Shut it down, remove power and USB cord.
Whilst in this state thoroughly check for paper debris in the paper track.
Then power up one more and do not connect USB
Try for test page[See your Manual]

It is requiring servicing if you can open the cover and apply some lubricant oil on the steel rod it will fix the problem otherwise show it service center.
