Do
you have a BSN or a 2 year degree? If you have a BSN you don't need to
limit yourself to RN to MSN programs. These programs are for nurses who
did the two-year school and sat for the NCLEX and have experience in the
clinical setting as an RN, but want to go on with their eductaion.
I
went to an Ivy League out of state for my BSN/MSN (I was coming from
another career and already had a professional degree) and I can tell you
the costs were ridiculous. By the time I'm done, I will owe well into
the six figures.
The
great thing about nursing is that regardless of cost, when you come out
able to sit for the NCLEX. So the expense is worth it, because as a
nurse you will ALWAYS be able to pay the loans back. You will find more
