Mini wide spread vanity tap handles ( mostly left ) are loose.
I have 3 sets of those in my home and all left side ( hot ) lever handles are getting very loose. There are no set screws anywhere for these and i can,t seem to figure out how to tighten them without major surgery! ( take them out and re install ) ?. They have a brass ring at the bottom
of the chrome ( where it meets the sink ) which seems to be separate from the larger chrome piece.
Can you help? Can i tighten these handles without removing the taps from the sink?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The following can be done on ipad with iOS 8:
1. Press the home button( the round button on the front side of your ipad), to go to the home screen.
2. Find the Settings icon ( looks like gray clockwork gears) and tap on it to launch the Settings app.
3. After settings app is started try to find on the left side of the screen Passcode ( has a red lock icon near the text) and tap on it
4. In the passcode setting screen you can choose the type of passcode with the Simple passcode setting switched on or off ( simple means a 4 digit number, not simple means any character combination
5. By taping on Turn passcode on you can enter your passcode. Be carefull not to forget your passcode, otherwise you will not be able to use your ipad later.
take the handle off and spin the cartridge 180 degrees there are little ears on the sleeve just pry it out and turn so the ares snap back in place but just turn it if it does not work turning it clockwise then take it out again and try it the other way its a trail and error thing you must turn the water off first or you will get awful wet
im not 100%sure on the particular set of taps you have ,but by looking at the picture on screen ill hazard a quess.by the way im a plumber .under the lever for hot water tap is a cone shaped shrowd .narrowest at its point where its in contact with lever and broadest at bath top end .this shroud will screw off .in the middle of the lever you pop off insert and unscrew cross head screw and then back off shroud ,the tap spindle should then be exposed
What is likely happening is a small piece of sediment has become lodged in either the mixing valve or in the aerator.
Begin with the easiest part first. The aerator is the threaded attachment from which the water comes out of the faucet. Remove the aerator from the faucet and run the tap without it installed. If the flow rate is good either clean or replace the aerator.
If this was not the problem then the solution becomes much trickier because the obstruction is likely in one of the lines coming into the faucet or in the body of the faucet called the mixing valve. This is where the hot and cold water mix inside the faucet.
Our next step is to create negative pressure inside the faucet in an attempt to remove the buildup restricting the flow.
If you don't have shut off valves under the sink you will need to shut off the water supply to the home, remove the faucet from the vanity/sink and perform the following procedure.
Shut the hot and cold water off underneath the sink and remove the supply lines at the shut off valves but leave them connected to the faucet. You will need to purchase two adapters for the aerator that will allow you to connect a garden hose from your closest water supply (kitchen sink) to the vanity faucet. You can find these at your local hardware store. You will also need a pail under the vanity to catch the water coming out of the vanity faucet supply lines. Connect the garden hose from an active water supply to the vanity faucet. With someones help have them turn the water supply on which will then run backwards through the vanity faucet and into the pail underneath the vanity. Be sure to open the vanity faucet taps to full so that water will run through the faucet. This should dislodge the obstruction.
remove white switch one and connect to incoming white ground--all whites should be connected [hooked] together these are grounds-- switch 1 black from fan ,leave switch 2 red from fan ,switch 3 vanity black
This must be a joke because there is no way the shower is connected to your faucet. the faucet on you vanity is connected directly to your hot and cold water supply. And only by opening the hot water side of the faucet can you get any hot water.out of the faucet.
sure , if you look underthe handle is there perahps a small screwhole in which you can tighten handle??this may be prior year in which case if there are no screw holes present you need to grab hold of handle and with a "brisk" pull to the right it will come off hiddenclips, the clips can be t ightened and resecure by snapping back the oppisite way the handle pullled off
