My predictive text doesn't work properly....

Hello, My predicitve text doesn't seem to recognise nearly all of the words i use in any text i send. I have to sit there and type out letter for letter for nearly all words and it's driving me insane! and i mean common words like; something, tonight etc I've also noticed that the phone doesn't seem to be remembering new words that i add in. I'm sure it used to! I have the language on English, although i notice it always offers me letters with accents etc i dont know if this has anything to do with it. I've tried putting the language to automatic but it makes no difference.... I'm sure its stuck on the wrong language or something! PLEASE HELP!! THANK YOU :)

Learning to type a message

Hi there,

It must be on predictive text. Basically you type the numbers according to any of the letters that are there.

So for example, if you wanted to type "Hello"
It would be 4(H) 3(E) 5(L) 5(L) 6(O)

This will show a word it thinks it can make from these numbers, generally by pressing the star key, you can flick through the options of words. If your word isn't there, you will have the option to type it in manually. For this (using the same example) you would have to type
wait for a bit for the cursor to move over

You can see that predicitve is much faster.

I hope i fix ya problem :)

U 900 soul predictive text

If you have accidentally saved a word into the T9 dictionary (ie, "IS" comes up with "47" or "Get" comes up with "HDU", you can teach the dictionary to revert back to the original word.

What you have to do is..... create a new text message, enter the text that is annoying, (ie, "IS"). When you type the word and it comes up with the annoying one, select the word that you wanted and enter a space, and do it again and again - you can do this in the same text message - it can take up to 20 goes but eventually, the dictionary recognises that you actually wanted "IS".

are you using predictive text? if so keep pushing the star button this way you can see other words then enter in your own words when needed as it will say spell in the bottom left so you can add to its dictionary?
