There is a button marked "int" push it in to toggle between searching and selecting the one that is playing. I just learned this.

How to set the clock on the car stereo (Naxa nx-670)

I had the same issue. I bought my 671 mp3 car stereo from jujudeals.com and I was having the same problem. I called them up and they said that I have to go to clock mode. When in 'Clock Mode' you have to press and hold Select (SEL) and at the same time press FF/REV to adjust time. (Fast Forward adjusts hour, Rewind adjusts minute). If your still having problems contact the Naxa Electronics warranty department. Goodluck!

You probably have the setting on INT (Intro), that means the songs will only play for 10 secs (a sample) and continue throughout the whole list until the user stops it by pressing the INT button. If it still is acting funny, feel free to email more details.

The button that I was referring too is on the actual device. The mode button...if you press it twice you can get to the menu for <local folder>. If you have window media player, make sure your naxa device is in the usb port... click on window media sync tab and direct the path to your flash drive ---->music/flash drive/songs right click on the song you want delete and delete. right click on the song you want to delete and delete.

To add songs just sync by using windows media player or real player. Try one at a time though.

Mp3 player naxa nx 124

I have found that mine looses it's memory due to a dead battery. I have to connect it to a pc, format the player just like you would format a usb thumb drive. When you power it back on, it will flash the memory and rebuild the play list. Sometimes, it will loose my music, but all I have to do is load them back out to the player. It's kinda a hassel, but I don't care because I change the songs on it on a regular basis anyway.
