    The Bink:

But if I leave it on there, will it interfere at all with the new version or if I uninstall will it there be any conflicting problems with the stuff it removes that may or may not work with the new version? On the Office site they don't recommend using two versions on the same computer?

No, leave the previous version on there until the new one is installed. then you can delete and uninstall if you choose. not necessary, you don't get that memory space back anyways.

please rate if this helps fixya problem

What happens to my microsoft office 2007 after i upgrade to microsoft office 2010 on thesame pc

The answer to your question depends on how you installed Office 2010.

During the install, if you chose the options to keep all previous versions, then the 2010 install will be seperate from the 2007 install. However - if you chose "Upgrade", then the 2007 versions are changed to the 2010 versions and you will not be able to run 2007 anymore. This is because the upgrade overwrites the previous versions.

I can't downLoad or install a microsoft word office 2007

Please answer the following questions so I could better help you on this.
1. What is your computer OS? (XP,Vista,Windows 7)2. Have you installed any previous version of Microsoft Office on your computer?3. Are you installing the Microsoft Office from a disc?4. Do you have a valid serial key for the Microsoft Office 2007?
First make sure that you have removed/uninstalled any previous Microsoft Office application on your computer. You will not be able to install a newer one if the software detects that there is a previous version installed.
You can use the uninstaller tool at the website below.
Once you have determined that it has been removedm, you can download the Microsoft Office Professional 2007 from this link:
If you are still unable to install the program using the link I provided, please respond to this and post the exact error message or even post a screen shot so I can help you better.

I tried to install office 2007 on windows 2000 professional with service pack 4. Following error was prompted. "THE SPECIFIED PROGRAM REQUIRES A NEWER VERSION OF WINDOW"

The message is clear: Microsoft Office 2007 cannot refuses to install on Windows 2000 Pro. You need a newer version of Windows (Windows XP or newer) to have MS Office 2007 work properly.
Alternatively you can install Office 97 on Windows 2000 Pro.

Microsoft Home and Office Student product key

Your program (ms-office) has been upgraded to Office 2007, and so you are asked for the License key. If you would like to use it, your only means is to uninstall the program and again reinstall your program. And remember if you don't like to upgrade to office 2007, don't install additional upgrades. There's a problem when you open an office 2007 on your previous version, but you can solve it by telling to those who send files to you. Let them save the file in the previous version format, if they save it in the office 2007 format, you'll not be able to open it. The file extension of previous version office is .doc but the new version has .docx, they can still save it in .doc format. You can convert .docx format using converter, but i don't recommend, you might loose formatting. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

Can't install microsoft office small business 2007 upgrade

The upgrade version is only to upgrade a previous version of MS office. The trial version does not qualify as previous version to be upgraded. You need to purchase the full product rather than the upgrade.

If you know somebody who has MS office 2003 with a valid product key, you could install that version, and then upgrade it with the product that you purchased

I am using office xp. my ms office applications are closing automatically. even before i complete by excel work it closed without saving. i have a cd for ms office 2007 which i now want to install but the...

Is that CD an upgrade version? It will work only with a previously installed Office 2003, maybe. This one is cheaper. The full install version doesn't upgrade the previous one and does install on a PC which never had an Office.
So, try uninstalling the previous Office and then install. If it doesn't install, then buy a full version of 2007.

Problem installing office 2007.

You need to uninstall any pre-release version of the Microsoft Office 2007 system .

it seems that if you have a version of the 2007 Microsoft Office Add-in or Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS installed, this may be the culprit. In both cases, by performing an uninstall on this add-in via the Control Panel, and then installing Expression Web, everything works okay. You can even re-install the Office 2007 add-in when you're done.

Please don't forget to rate the solution
