I can't get the bobbin mechanism back into the sewing machine. It's a Kenmore 1345 model. The illustrations in the guide aren't helping at all.

I'm not sure what you are telling me. My daughter managed to figure it out--the illustration in the manual was completely wrong.

SOURCE: singer futura model 900 sewing machine

Recently had same problem. Underneath the bobbin area on the bottom of the machine is a small white plastic piece that resembles a fan. Singer calls this the bobbin cam actuator. It is usually cracked along the sleeve that fits over the metal pin, bar? This is the mechanism that lifts the bobbin when it is wound. When its broken it can't lift the bobbin to be wound properly.

Bobbin size for Kenmore model 385.16221300?

SearsPartsDirect indicates that the bobbin is part 102261000, https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/6acn4eb2a2-000582/kenmore-38516221300-mechanical-sewing-machine-parts . Searching that part number suggests that the bobbin is a Class 15. One source for the bobbin is https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/bobbins-janome-kenmore-elna-102261103.aspx? .

I hope this helps.

Bobbin rewinder won't work

it's possible that there is a part inside the machine that could be broken, it would be a good idea to have the machine checked.

How to adjust timing on 1970's kenmore sewing machine

This sounds less like timing, and more like a threading issue.
Make sure the thread is properly in the tension disks in the top of your machine.

The bobbin on my kenmore sewing machine model 158.15720 won't spin to wind the bobbin. I oiled it but it didn't help. The belt is a little loose. Could replacing it help?

most machines will have a rubber o ring as part of the bobbin winding mechanism, when you engage the bobbin winder, this o-ring will move over against the main engine drive wheel and this then makes the bobbin spindle turn. So yes, you may need to replace the rubber o-ring, they can perish and wear. Called Bobbin Winder Tyre, you could try www.sewingpartsonline.com, they have loads of Kenmore models listed but can't see yours. However, if you email them, they should be able to advise what part number it is. If you start by opening up the machine case and take a look at the bobbin winder area first, you may find this rubber has split or perished.

I need a manuel for 11206609 I am trouble with the bobbin catching and the thread is bunching. I also need to a manuel to see how to properly thread the machine.

I can't find a manual for that exact model, but I found a service manual and instruction manual for a 11206630. They will, hopefully, be close to your machine. Normanlly, when the model numbers are that close, the manuals are very close as well.

Hand wheel on Kenmore model 1345 sewing machine tight and now squeaking when sewing. What should I do

Take the bobbin and bobbin case out first of all and check for any minute pieces of thread stuck, lightly poil with WD40, find out where the squeak is, very important otherwise the machine may seize and it will cost a lot of money, oil all moving parts lightly

Kenmore 385 model Automatic Button Hole Apparatus Jams Thread?

Practice and practice some more! Use the same fabric and interfacing as your project and a NEW needle (the correct needle) This is for the Sears Kenmore 385 automatic button hole maker. Make sure you pull the bobbin thread through the Guide Block - it is that simple. Make sure you pull your thread to the back of the machine though the presser foot slot - the correct presser foot. Account for both thread tails before starting to sew. Keep thread tails to the back of the machine 4-5", insert fabric under presser foot keeping thread tails clear. Mark button hole and sew.

Bobbin wont catch

Try flipping the bobbin. The thread must come off in a certain direction to work properly.

Kenmore Model 385.16231300

I discovered the same problem. What I figured out (after having the machine "repaired" several times) is that it seems as if the bobbin type may be the suspect. I started looking closely and it seems as if I have 2 different types of bobbins. So, I tried both types. Since I don't know the bobbin number(s), you will have to put up with my description .... the bobbin that is flat, top & bottom, seems to bunch up. The bobbin "bounces" when I sew. The bobbins that are rounded on the top and bottom don't seem to "bounce" and it doesn't bunch up the lower thread. Now, I have read my manual front to back and it does not say what bobbin type or number to use. So, if anyone knows, it would be a great help. I am assuming the correct bobbin is the "class 66" bobbin. Does anyone know for sure?
