Help with replacing broiler ignitor on rgsc 305

I've received the broiler ignitor from DCS (fischer paykel) but the wires are buried behind a lot of sheet metal and difficult to get at.  Before I start ripping things apart I would like to get a few hints where to start and if possible a copy of the pages of the service manual. Thanks

I finally got to the wires and was able to get the ignitor replaced, but only after an hour of contortions (and just a little cursing!) I have already replaced the oven ignitor on this range and it was relatively easy. The range is only 5 years old, was pretty expensive, and I'm very disappointed in the service record. Believe me, the company's Customer Service department is rude, unhelpful and downright surly!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Maintaining interior temp

DCS is a Fischer and Paykel company.
You most likely have a defective thermister rather than a bad thermostat.

Just cleaned the oven, now no broil and no oven

Sounds like you have knocked the ignitor wires loose or out of position. Look at the assembly and make sure everything is connected and properly positioned.
Not sure about the manual.

The Infra-red broiler covered by glass does not sear or brown sufficiently

You might try covering the glass areas ( such as the door ) with tin foil... Hope that helps...
