Solution : Modify the Administrator Password From the Control Panel

1. Press the small round [Log In / Out] button located on the left side of the Control Panel. The System Administrator Login screen will be displayed.
   
   
2. Enter the System Administrator Login ID using the numeric keypad on the Control Panel, and then select the [Confirm] button on the Touch Screen. The System Administrator Menu screen will be displayed.
   
   NOTE:The System Administrator Login ID and UserID is "11111" by default. If an error is made, press the [Clear (C)] button and re-enter the ID. To cancel the operation, select [Cancel]. If the administrator has a problem with changing or has forgotten the ID, a service call must be placed.
3. Select the [System Settings] button twice. The System Settings screen will be displayed.
4. Select the [Change System Admin Login ID] button.
5. Enter in the new password.
6. Select the [Save] button to save the setting.
7. Select the [Close] button several times, and then select the [Exit] button to exit.

That would be the best solution. As long as you can login and the account has administrator rights.


Lost Windows password:

• Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode.
  
• Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  
• Reformat computer.

According to your problem you can't install the driver of your printer. For your information to install any software or hardware you must need administrative privilege. If there require administrator password to login and you can't login also after giving password then first check the password you have typed is correct. Some time guest user can't do the all thing after get administrator password. Then you must need to login as administrator. You can try to start the setup by right click on the setup.exe and selecting Run as Administrator. If it doesn't help you then you need to change the user permission from administrator account.

Login means that you have given a password. And have forgotten it. If it is your personal laptop, then you must be remembering the Administrator's password. If yes, then login as Administrator and delete the account that is posing the problem. And create a new one, even if with same name. If you are not the administrator then you have problems. Ask the Administrator to do the needful, ie, give you a new password. If all fails, then reinstall Windows and dont create accounts and use passwords.

REINSTALL WINDOWS.

This is normal with Vista, Vista log in users as standard (not Administrator privileges) , then ask if to run programs as administrator for security reasons. Once you tell the system to run program as administrator it should install with no problems.
If you really cannot install the program, you can restart computer and login as administrator:
At the "pick a user to login" screen, hit CTRL-ALT-DEL to get the classic login screen. Then you can type in Administrator for the user name, default password is blank.
