Well it will be really helpful to know what system you are using, but , asuming you are using Windows you cand try the following:

Press F8 on boot and select the Safe mode, this will enable the Administrator account on the logon screen, of course for safe mode.

Or, click on Start -> Run, type "REGEDIT" without the quotes and then click on Run.

This will display the Registry editor, now go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE –> SOFTWARE –> Microsoft –> Windows NT –> CurrentVersion –> Winlogon –> SpecialAccounts –> UserList

Now, click over "User List" using the right mouse button and select New ->DWORD (if it doesn't already exist) called Administrator and assign the decimal value 1 to it. If it alreadi exist just change the value to "1", restart and the Administrator account will be at the logon screen.

What is the administrator code

To install new software (including games) you must be a system administrator. If you are not a system administrator it will prompt you to login with an administrator account. A user who is considered an system administrator must login. There is an default admin account called "Administrator" and the default password is blank. However it is usually disabled. This means you must have a different user of the computer sign in .

Forgot window xp password to login for my Toshiba Satellite a105 s2194 system unit Model PsAA5U-00Z01C

Lost Windows password:

  • Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode. XP only.
  • Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  • Reformat computer.
  • Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html
  • Free software option would be Hirens Boot CD. This one is command prompt only. http://www.hirensbootcd.org/ Must follow instructions exactly.

I forgot my password on my samsung n150 netbook. how can i recover them

Hello.

There is a hidden Administrator account. Access that account and then reset your password.

Boot your system and continually press F8. Choose Safe Mode and at the login screen, enter Administrator for your login / username and leave the password area blank.

Login and go to the Control Panel and User Accounts. Select your account and enter the password you choose. Save and logout.

Login with your account and new password.

Hope this helps.

I changed my login password. i must have missed a letter, because it keeps telling me that the password is wrong

You can try logging into safe mode, and seeing if you have an administrator account enabled.

To do this turn on the computer press f8 repeatedly until you see a windows option screen.

Select Safe Mode wait for the login screen if you see administrator and your user name select administrator.

Go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> your username.

Select remove password

If you don't have this administrator account you will have to restore your operating system to it's factory defaults.

Hope this helps let us know if you run into anymore problems!

Wrong administrators password

Don't worry, The first thing whichyou check if you forget login password. When we install Windows, itautomatically creates an account "Administrator" and sets its password toblank. So if you have forget your user account password then try this:
Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen /Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box.Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password fieldblank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from "ControlPanel -> User Accounts".
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe ModeWindows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.

Or you can use the third party password reset software like Windows Password Recovery Basic
