Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Downloading transcription from CD to Windows Documents

I have the Windows Vista computer system. I do transcription work on Phillips SpeechExec Transcribe and get the work from CD's that have been formatted for wav. I don't know how to download the work from the CD to my Windows Documents - when I insert the CD, the file name comes up. I can click on it, choose ''copy'', but then there is nothing further to get it into my Documents - there is no ''paste'' option. It seems I am missing a step and wonder if you could help me.

Problem with Olympus AS-2400 PC Transcription Kit

I saw the AS2400 is compatible with Windows XP/2000/Vista.

You can install Windows XP in your computer (I presume you have a 4th Gen Intel processor installed in it) and run this software under Windows XP.
On the Windows 8.1 Help and Support, search: Windows XP

What is windows guard tools

Sounds like a mutation of MS Antivirus. The name mutated, the cr@p didn't.
It is a 'Scareware Malware', and it is hollow,

Even if you could connect to the internet, and send your hard earned money, plus your valuable credit card info, nothing would happen.
They just want your money, and sensitive credit card information.

Internet connection loss is first. They don't want you to download an antivirus program, that will kick them to the curb.
Next all administrative privileges are lost.

Can't get into the Control Panel.
Can't get into Task Manager.
Can't get into the Administrative Tools.

Kick it to the curb. Download the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, to the computer you are using now. Burn it to a CD disk.
Put the disk in your infected computers optical drive.

The free version of Malwarebytes is as good, if not better, than any paid for anti-virus program out there, IMHO.
I have used a LOT of anti-virus programs, but this baby slaps the mutations of MS Antivirus to the curb.

On this page left-click on Download Now, in the green rectangle.
(Has - CNET Secure Download - underneath it)

You will be directed to another page. Give it a few seconds, and a small window will appear on the upper right side,
Opening mbam-setup-
Left-click on Save File.

A small window will come up on the left. In the wording at the top of this window, tells you where the file will download to. You may wish to write it down. Then close the window. (Red X)

1) Depending on which Windows program, you are running on your download computer, Windows XP, or Windows Vista/Windows 7,
the wording varies a little.

Windows XP:
It may state Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads, in the wording.

Windows Vista/Windows 7:
It may state Desktop, or Documents, or Downloads.

Windows XP:
Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen.

My Documents: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents.

Downloads: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen.

Documents: Left-click on the Windows logo button, then on Documents.

Downloads: Left-click on the Windows logo button, then on Documents.
DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

2) Put a new CD-R disk in your optical drive. (A CD-R/W disk can be re-written over. A CD-R disk cannot. I use a CD-R disk so that it can't be accidentally written over)

3) Go to the file name, (mbam-setup-, and Right-click on it.
In the drop down list, left-click on Copy. Burn it to the disk.
Start your infected computer, open the optical drive, and put the disk in.
Close the optical drive. (CD/DVD drive)

If the Malwarebytes program does not automatically come up, go to My Computer (Computer for Vista, and Win7), find the CD/DVD drive letter, and DOUBLE-click on it. (It will have mbam, etc next to t)

4) A small Windows warning window will come up.
Left-click on Run.

[ Microsoft will certify a program is good, IF you pay them.
Pay for EACH download of your program. If you are giving away a FREE program, why would you want to pay $$$$$$ for the 'privilege'?
I realize you just picked up a scareware malware, and I am a stranger.
All I can tell you is I use it, and have been on this website for 3 years ]

Follow the simple instructions. Have a problem post back to me in a Comment.

After you have downloaded, and installed Malwarebytes, there will be an icon on your desktop screen.
DOUBLE-click on it.

Left-click on Perform full scan.
When Malwarebytes is running, you may see pop-up, after pop-up on your monitor screen. So many in fact that you may not be able to see the Malwarebytes screen, and do not know if it is operating.

DO NOT click on anything! Malwarebytes is running. If you click on anything you will just slow Malwarebytes down.
Some pop-ups may be genuine Windows 'shields', some are fake from the scareware malware. Clicking on the real ones will do you no good, either.

Average time is 42 minutes. Just depends on how large your harddrive is, and how much stuff you have on it.

I know this is L-O-N-G, but there is more.
After Malwarebytes has run, close it. Go to System Restore. Turn System Restore off.

Run Malwarebytes one more time. Then turn System Restore back on, and create a Restore Point.
System Restore will not only restore your system, it will also restore that scareware malware.

Need guidance in performing this last task? Tell me what Windows operating system you are using.

For additional questions please post in a Comment.

[ You may wish to use CCleaner also. A free registry cleaner that is as good as paid for registry cleaners, if not better ]

Phillips webcam 300 nc wont work

Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the XP or VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.

Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
