since every display color monitors are only work with 3 primary color which are red, blue and yellow. You could also search it that by mixing these colors, you could get any color your want. Thats how color monitors work. Now in case of green color, it creates by mixing blue and yellow. When you are turning the screen adjustment screw, the red color plug will become lose, makes it appear green. I hope your got the reason.
hello.... do you have any speakers near your television? what color is the circle your talking about? Do the green, pink colors are scattered all over the screen and specially on the corners? If you have or had speakers near your tv? then do this try to get a magnet.a magnet on a speaker would do.what you have to do is to place the magnet near the screen of the tv approx. above the green, pink color (turn it on first).you will notice the that the color will react with the magnet try to pull it on the side you will notice that the green, pink color is moving on the same direction do it until its gone.NOTE make sure youll not scratch the screen ok.email me what happened. firstname.lastname@example.org GOODLUCK
I encountered the same problem with a color computer monitor several years ago. Everything went green. The repair techies told me that's a sign that the power supply is going bad. You will not be able to adjust the color. You will have to either fix it or replace it. Hope this isn't a common problem with this model Samsung TV.
make a degosing coil or try to look for a website how to make it in the phillipine we only make it coz we can't buy or its not available in the marker ok thanks that is the only solution you can do k
about akai tv may be it just coldsolder in crt socket try to solder it thanks inform me
Are you getting Green or purple or pink patches all over the screen? This could be a problem of Degaussing. Have you placed any Magnetic source near the TV recently? Some Tape recorder or walkie talkie or a Speaker, etc? The Magnetic field created by any of the above sources can cause coloured patches over a colour TV screen. It also happens if you shift the TV from one location to another.
The third possibility is that the Picture Tube's Red Output stage gone faulty. Unless you are a trained Solid state Electronics Technician, there is nothing you can do. Better go for a trade in.
as you say that color came back for 15 minutes then went off.
this is a clear indication that there is a loose contact or pcb crack somewhere in color section only.
if that happens to be ok then check
1 antena or cable socket loose
2 loose connector in color section
3 print open or crack near chroma signal processor.
4 loose near color control.
5 chroma ic night be defective.
if you are not tech person take the help of tech.person.
I would check the green signal all the wat to the display screen to determine is this is a signal problem or a system short. I would recommend that you take this set to a qualified electronics technician
Do not try to align the colors with the remote. One of your convergence IC's has gone bad and needs to be replaced, possible burning one of the 3 low value resistors next to it. If you change the convergence settings now then they will have to be reset when the new IC is installed.
Sorry to say, it sounds like a bad picture tube, But could be also the capacitor that filters the screen voltage on the crt drivers. In all my years though, your complaint has been the picture tube. Good Luck.
