Question about SanDisk SDMX1 MP3 Player
I use Windows Media Player to sync playlists to my mp3 player, but roughly half of the songs don't play. When I access the files through the USB interface they are there, but when I use the player to browse the directories those same files don't show up. There is no problem with the files because I can move them to the MUSIC directory and the player is then able to find them and play them, but I don't want to keep all of the songs in the top directory.
Just a suggestion, make sure all your mp3s have been decoded the same and using cbr is probably your best bet. Your mp3s have got to be perfectly coded when using this player.

By default, Windows Media Player automatically loads all the music and picture files
stored in your My Music and My Pictures folders into the library. If you add new files to
these folders, they will also be automatically added to the library.
If Windows Media Player has selected to sync your device automatically, you can choose not to sync your entire media library. You can choose what you wish to sync from existing
playlists or create new playlists. These playlists you have selected will then sync to your player every time you connect it to your computer.
1 Click the down arrow beneath the Sync tab and select Philips GoGear SA60xx > Set Up Sync.
> The Device Setup dialog box appears.
2 In the Available playlists pane, select the existing playlists you want to sync and then
