Question about Panasonic AG-DVC60 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Open Question

Error code reads "Warning Zoom Lock"

I have looked thoroughly in the manual on what to do should this warning come on the menu screen of my camera. But nowhere in the book is there a solution to remedy the situation. Has anyone else had this problem? More importantly, how do you fix it. Thanks

SOURCE: warning PSD NG Panasonic DVX100A

I checked several forums for you and the general suggestion is just live with it. Panasonic will charge you 330$ to clean the lens assembly and update the firmware and the problem will come back in 2 days. Then they will tell you they have to change the whole lens assembly $550. The problem will come back again. Twenty or more people said the best thing to do is just live with it as it does not interfere with the cameras performance in any way. It sounds to me like this problem is engineered into the camera to milk money from you. All of the users that have just ignored the warning are still working fine, They just say it's annoying. One sent it to a shop to see if they could just disable the warning, You can not. After reading every ones exact same problem I can feel comfortable recommending that you simply follow their course and ignore the warning message. Everyone that sent it in was robbed and the problem came back within a month and ignoring it does no damage to the camera or the video it produces. If I were you I would send Panasonic a letter complaining about this issue and tell them what you know about their scheme. Ask them why so many people are having this problem and they can not fix it. This is just another example of bad business practice. I see this more and more each day in all types of products. They figure you paid a lot for Your camera and you will pay a lot to fix it. Maybe if you make enough of a fuss and threaten to post this horror story to tech forums all over the internet they will send you a better camera. I did that with a Compaq Presario laptop I paid 700$ for. I had to send it in for warranty work 3 times in 6 months. When I threatened to post all my communications with them and my horror story HP Quality assurance sent me a 1400$ HP Pavillion fully loaded just to shut me up. HP bought out Compaq. Apparently these mega companies do not want their secrets out so they will pay you off to settle you issue if you ride them with honest complaints about their bad business practices. The last thing they want is people to realize what they are doing. I hope you found this information helpful. As there is no way to actually fix your problem yourself I hope you find this information I gave you valuable enough to rate it fixya for me. If you ride the company the way I instructed you you will get satisfactory results and in most cases better equipment out of them. And I will get the 6 bucks for telling you how to force them to help you. This is the absolute best answer anyone will be able to give you here. Others may try to tell you all crazy ways to disassemble the lens assembly and cleaning contacts. Doing so will ruin your camera that is not even broken and void whatever warranty you may have or your chances of getting them to replace it with better equipment. In any event, Let me know how you make out. If you need more help getting the company to help you you can send me an E-mail to and give me your number and all your info and I will ride them for you on your behalf as your qualified technician. I do this for a hobby so I will not charge you anything. I just hate seeing big companies taking advantage of their customers. Hope to hear from you soon,

SOURCE: camera having error WARNING FOCUS LOCK

Hello there! Focus ring lock means that some how the focus ring is not turning freely. If it turns easilly then inside the optocoupler unit which reads out the movement of ring must be dust or the flexicable. Therefore somehow the camera should be disassembled got cleaned by pressurized air in case of dust and reassembled and hopefully it should work without problem.

What is computer error F3-F200-0002?

First, I recommend you call Toshiba support. Usually this happens because Toshiba may install some crapware with the laptop at first to control all part of the Hardware.

If you still have your recovery partition that the computer came with you can do this:

1. Initially you keep hold the power button for around 5 to 10 seconds to turn off your system. Keep in mind that keep holding the power button force the system to turn off. But any of the unsaved data will be lost.
2. At the similar time press and keep hold the zero key simultaneously, now push the power button one time to switch on your system.
3. While the screen is get appeared then free the 0 key.
4. If it any message to select the 32bit or 64bit operating system then you click Next button.
5. When provoked by the warning screen; click on to the Yes button to keep continue with the system recovery.
6. In that choose Recovery of Factory Default Software from the menu and then hit it off on the Next.
7. Choose Recover to out-of-box state option from certain options and then click Next button once again.
8. Understand and recognize this final warning screen.
9. Now finally click Next to start recovery

Could also be your harddrive failing or windows is damaged.

Hi, Ihave a C:21:00 symbol in my screen...and another one look like a water drop....I can't put my cassette inside the machine...what can I do ???? Thank's Isabelle

The water drop is a condensation warning- the camera has sensed damp in the works. Damp will cause the tape to stick and get tangled in the transport mechanism, so you need to dry the camera (and tapes) out thoroughly before proceeding. Leave them in a warmish dry place for a day or so- longer if needed.

Have E:61:10 flashing up on screen. cannot find it in manual. can you help. Sony hdr-cx520ve

error code alerts user for malfunctions detected by the camera. the error E:61:10 would pertain to the zoom mechanism malfunction. issue may be with with lens block zoom MR sensor or zoom motor drive circuit. 1st step troubleshooting steps would be to reset camcorder (check manual for reset button location) and power reset (remove battery and leave camcorder w/o any power source for a minute). if still the same then service would be required. hope this info helps. thanks.

Showing warning psd ng in dvx102 panasonic video cam

PSD NG means that there is a problem with your electronic image stabilization system.I think Panasonic got stuck with a bad batch of gyros. Take it back if you can, otherwise use lower resolution or hold very still when filming.

Warning in memory "FORMAT ERROR"

You could try to re-format the stick. Some cameras are a bit picky when it comes to formatting. Often they will not work unless formatted directly on the camera. You could also try formatting it under widows if you have a card reader. This may kick it into life.
