Question about Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer

Seeking Owners Manual for Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse

I just inherited a computer and accessories. There were no user manuals. I've got things up and running but I have a few questions about the use of the wireless mouse. I'd like to find a user's manual but haven't had any luck. My main question is how can I disable the mouse when the computer is not in use so that it doesn't drain the batteries?
Thanks.

Microsoft does not publish a manual for their keyboards or mouse. Give a little more info as to what problem you are having and I maybe able to help you. Is it in reference to settings. Let me know. Thanks, Bud

All you have to do is attatch the USB transceiver to the bottom of the mouse as seen here:

You can get you manuals from here, not much on them though.
I hope this helps you, let me know..

Sounds like you need to update your mouse's driver, you will find the intellimouse 6.3 driver for Windows XP at the link below "IntelliPoint 6.3 32-bit for Windows XP".

MS Wireless IntelliMouse 2.0 pointer direction reversed (up/down)

Go into the control panel and click on the mouse icon and see if you can change to settings back to normal.

If not then check under your start menu and see if the intellimouse software is installed there and go into it to change the settings from there.

Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 - low battery pop up

I would disregard the pop up as in most cases the batteries are still good. I'd use the mouse till it stopped functioning. Why it does that I haven't figured out yet. I beleive a value has to be changed in the Registry. If I figure it out I will let you know.
