    UPDATE:
My psp's screen will instantly shake after turning on (after loading the sony logo)

  • hizuka007 Jan 16, 2009

I've already set to that settings, hmmmmm... i will try what you said about reinstalling... thanks

i will post maybe tommorow about the result.

  • hizuka007 Jan 17, 2009

I've upgraded my psp from 3.80 m33-5 to 4.01 m33-2 instead of reinstalling it because of the risk of bricking it...... but with no luck.... it still shaking... and the worse part is that after upgrading to 4.01 m33-2 my saved game cannot be load... the game only state: Failed to load game data.... and when i try to browse the saved game inside that game it only sees EMPTY.....
WHAT THE!!! so I have TWO problems now ... :(

Please turn on your PSP and once in the menu mode press select to enter your XMB menu and be sure your settings are something like this (sorry but our tester psp is currently disassembled) =

CPU Speed - Normal/default
Game Clock - Normal/default
USB - Memory Card
Default
ISO Video mount device - None

You can email me if you want the exact list. We will have our tester PSP in one piece again by tomorrow. Also, if this doesn't fix your PSP try reinstalling your firmware.

The PSP is like a computer. You are supposed to make back ups of all of your files using your computer before making any changes. I apologize for not mentioning this. I hoped that you would know this as you seem like you a fairly expienced PSP hacker and a smart person.

Please double check your CPU speed to make sure it is set to normal. I have experienced the same issue that you have and when I checked the XMB settings some of the settings were changed thus causing the PSP to ''shake'' violently. We had to change the settings all back to default and then select the ''restart device'' option.

You can also turn off your PSP and turn it back on under recovery mode and check all of your settings are where they are supposed to be in both the configuration and advanced configuration areas. Even one wrong setting can cause issues. Also, if you would like I can completely diagnose and repair your PSP. Email me if you are interested. Otherwise, I am very confident that you can repair it by correcting all of your settings and then resetting your PSP.

Please keep in touch with me and keep me posted. I am determined to help you fix your PSP.

I was playing my psp all day, then i charged it at themorning and at the evening, when i charged it during at night, it blacked out, when i try to open it, i does'nt open. what is the problem in my psp?

Err open it do you mean turning it on?You probably were playing on it for too long, also there are some chargers that burn the battery out if you don't keep an eye on them.If it won't turn on now I don't know what you can do to correct it.I used to play on my PSP about 8 hours a day but stopped (mainly because there is hardly anyone left playing Mpo ).

My PSP is on and has sound but the screen remain black and it won't work

You probably either have a bad back light wich if you hold your psp up very close
to a light you will be able to see the display or your screen and light have gone bad
in wich case you can buy a new screen on ebay here is a link
http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_nkwZpspQ20lcdQ20screensQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZR40QQ_mdoZ

and here is a link on how to replace the screen

http://www.llamma.com/PSP/PSPTearDown.htm

In order to do this you will have to void your warranty :\ but it should fix the problem
