Question about Olympus Camedia C-7070 Wide Zoom Digital Camera
I have recently been encountering a problem where it takes several seconds for a picture to be taken once the button is pressed. I have seen a similar problem posted with another version of the Olympus camera but not fix was offered. Is this a hard failure of the camera, a software problem or something I am doing wrong. Any ideas would be appreciated.
If the camera has been on standby- then older models can take a time to 'wake-up' this is a battery saving device. Check you manual - it may be a variable function. Failing that, simply tap the shutter release from time to time with the camera on this keeps it 'live' but will ofcourse 'down' the batteries sooner.
