Need help bad im in the army and deployed right now my hard drive died need to ask if i can save the data it very inportant to me

An example on how to download and save to an External Hard Drive and copy and paste to an External Hard Drive

Click start all programs accessories open windows explorer navigate to your data / files
Right click on the data select copy navigate back to the External Drive.

or right click on the data select paste or select the data hold the mouse cursor then drag the data to your usb drive then drop it in
or if you are downloading data from the internet.

Once it starts downloading windows will ask whether you want to run or save it
a browse option will open you can save it into your External Drive or a folder in my documents or another device or a usb device.
