Won't go to the main screen

it will show the dell's logo but won't go to the main screen no matter how i tried soft and hard reset.
please give me your advise.

- when i press W/P/Reset I see "To restore factory settings, press (address icon)...To cancel this operation, press (mail icon)..."
Any icon i press the dell's logo will only appear but not to the main screen.

What version operating system you had on the axim? 2003 se? wm5?

-   On reinstalling the battery it powers on to the dell blue boot screen, nothing works,repeat same. this happened after I reset it several time with the lock button on. -   danow383

Attempt to start in SD Bootloader mode by Pressing Wireless + Power + Reset.

Does the Bootloader mode work? are you able to enter to it?

- the bootloader wont solve the problem alone, just need to know if it works, if the bootloader works we may be able to reload the software to it. so when you press W+P+Reset what do you see on the screen? I think you are supposed to let go from reset first.

- My time is currently limited and I can't provide you with step by step instructions.

download the rom for 2003 se, its on the page, follow the instructions on how to enter bootloader with your sdcard and reload the software from the sdcard.

- Ok, in that case you will have to send the pda to repair, the mainboard may need to be replaced or the memory. Its all build into the same board and can't easyly be replaced.
