Turn off power right there at the unit.

Wait 5, then turn on power. Watch the unit very closely and report back exactly what it does or does not do in detail. We can then help you from there.

Your flame detector circuit is bad. The heater never lights, so the blower never comes on. Another thing would be the temperature sensors mount on the duct close to the burners.

I am hearing a little bit of squealing noise when running the ventilation fan in my house.

Sounds like you have a bearing going in the blower unit or a loose belt. Get it serviced by a reputable service company.

Is EDF5 required to have intermitant running of Fantech HR 2005R?

The SHR2005R will turn on the furnace Blower if the furnace is not running to circulate the fresh air. The reason the furnace will not trun on the HRV is, the purpose of the HRV is continuous Ventilation in your home. It should not be turned off when your furnace is not running. That why Fantech has not design the HRV's to run that way. I hope this helps.

Intertherm heating

My heating unit is blowing cool air. The thermostat will start the blower when the unit is turned on at the thermostat, but the air isn't hot. But,when I turn the unit on at the furnace/blower using the "Fan On" button, I can see the heating element heat up. After the blower starts the heating element does out. What could be the problem?

Heater blower motor cycles on and off (frequently). I have a class 2 LR95329 Honeywell Thermostat

The clicking noise is a relay or switch of some sort. You are right about that. I have 2 questions. 1) does the thermostat have a mercury bulb in it? 2) when the fan shuts off and on, does the burner stay on?
