Hi, I too cannot get my printer to connect via the bluetooth. I bought the Kodak USB bluetooth to connect my Kodak ESP-5 all in one printer to my laptop. I followed the easy instructions and the bluetooth was detected and added. But when I tried to print, it said my printer was off. I restarted my computer as well as the printer, but still the same results. Can't seem to troubleshoot it.

my printer set up worked fine for months. ESP3 hardwired to desktop OS XP, was able to print no problem from laptop. I did a project where I wanted to hardwire the printer into the laptop and since then my laptop won't print.
    I have a linksys router.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled everything on both machines.
I have reset up the sharing.
    My computers are networked properly.
    Kodak is no help.

Need to connect my printer kodak esp-3 to my laptop using a usb cord

Install the software for your printer on your laptop. Then connect the usb cable to the printer and the pc will recognize it. Then just print as normal. The pc will not recognize the printer until the software has been installed. If you have lost your driver disk, you can download a free copy from Kodak's website.

Uninstall all kodak applications from your pc and reset your printer properly.Try and install your printer on a different pc,maybe the problem is with your pc and not the printer. If after all this ,it still doesn't work, then you should get your printer replaced.

My Kodak ESP 3 Won't Scan

Did you install the full software driver for the all-in-one? The drivers are here:

Next try a new USB cable and plugging the unit into a different port. If you use a print server or USB hub, try connecting directly to the computer. Scanners need bi-directional communication with the computer and thus are likely to have issues even if the printer doesn't.

Can the scanning software on the computer initiate the scan? (That is in the full software package. Alternatively Vista came with Paint and File> Import from Camera or Scanner > New Scan.)

I hope this helps.
