Question about Olympus WS-311M Digital Voice Recorder
The instruction manual tells how to pause a recording (press REC button) and then press again to continue the recording. But no instruction given how you replay part of the existing recording and then start recording from that point thereby deleting existing recording and replacing it with new recoding e.g. I want to playback to paragraph 3 of a recorded letter and replace this paragraph by recording a different paragraph 3. How can I do this?
Unfortunately that is not possible with this recorder to be able to replay a part of a recording and record over it. If you pause it will just allow you to continue from the point where the device was stopped. You might want to check out the DS-2300 or the DS-2400 model recorders as those devices have the ability to do what you are asking.
