Re: each time I activate computer it prints out a test...
With a lot of the all in one printers they want to scan the test page aftert printing to check the alignment. Next time it prints out a page, if a dialogue box appears saying scan now with the option of scan or cancel, select scan. If a dialogue box does not appear, check the menu on the software and look for alignment. That should fix it.

If you mean for one ink module, that will completly depend on the different types of pictures.... Beach scenes will eat up browns and reds, just like sunsets eat red/yellow, sky eats blues and so on.... Too hard to make the call.... Take care!!! AND, thanks soooo mcuh for using FixYa for your solutions needs..... Guy :)
Kodak has a repair page and I followed their directions on fixing the paper jam. Actually, I also got to know my printer a little more because of their online suggestions and directions. Thanks!! Margie Prothro
there are many aftermarket ink manufacturers out there. I have been printing for 18+ years and have learned the hard way it does not pay to use aftermarket inks. The headache and amount of reprints you must do will eat into your profits and defeat the savings from the ink.
Most aftermarket ink companies also sell a chip resetter with there bulk ink systems.
I found a pencil inside my printer and took it out. It was not easy but now it does not jams the paper. Disconnect the power cord and softly shake the printer from side to side making sure you are holding on to the top scanner door so it won't flip open and listen for anything rolling or loose inside. It just might be your problem.
