Re: Trying to locate a CV068G LCD TV Driver Board
Try EBay.com I have found many parts for TVs over the past years. Look for TVs that had the screen cracked during delivery. The insides always work and you can buy the borads you need at a lower price then trying to fix 1 item on it.
When on EBay, search for the whole TV and parts. You might find what you are looking for there.

Contact your homeowners insurance because you need a new television. If this was from lightning then it is badly damaged. You are at least looking at a new control board and there are at least 3 of them and then you may need new power supply, main board and inverter.
Most of the time the power supply is defect when the lightening was close enough. But you can't be sure there is a lot of other damage in the rest of the TV set. Is there no insurance you can claim a new TV, because repairing it now, will not give any guaranty nothing else can switch of (become defect) within only a few months.
Just Google for ESD (Electro static discharge) and see what a small discharge (is close enough can damage let alone lightning close to an electronic device. But read the damage can come with a delay.
Based on the symptom it seems like you have a problem either with capacitors or mosfet ic's burned on power supply. I will open up the tv and closely inspect for any burned/damaged component. (google burned capacitors for you to have an idea on how they might look like). If you find any you can either replace the component or you could also replace the whole circuit board. The specific part number must be print out on the board itself. You need this number to order it from any part distributor.

It can't predict about the repair charge at this time; because, if the availability of components are rare, the price too will go high for it. If it seem to be more than the price of a new TV, why don't we buy a new one? With a new one, you will get warranty period too. It will be best I thinks. Gopakumar Gopalan Google
Lightning can cause serious damage. You will surely want to get a professional diagnoses. What is damaged depends on where the surge came in at, and the intensity of the surge. If the surge came in through the power cable, most likely your power supply board has damage. But I have seen situations where the surge came in though an HDMI or coax connection and just take out the main board. But the moral of the story is to get a proper diagnoses, you could have several boards damaged.
if you had a surge, it could have damaged more than just the power supply. When you plug in the unit, does the power indicator light up??? your main board could also have damage. The main board sends a signal to wake up the power supply thus turning on the TV. If you have to replace the main board as well, it probably won' t be economical to repair the set.
The tv power supply board it is dead 100% it is dead that board where the tv power a/c plug into it.Sometimes u get a burn or a chart coal marks if the power surge have big enough charges to the board, not it still kills board too because electromagnatic charges of the storm kills every electronic parts in came in contact with.Take the tv aparts. The tv power supply board are alway the one these two boards are the causes alway and the first board to dies .Replaced the tv power supply board first.Tv should work now,if not the main tv Tuner signal board it is also dead too. That the board where the incomming broadcasting signal wire plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement first and also the main tv Tuner signal board too,if necessary.70-80% changes the power supply board and necessary the main tv Tuner signal boad too tv should work again.20% sometimes the whole tv it fries and a total lost.
Good day sir/maam, chances are, yes or no, yes, the surge do has the ability to damage your TV, but no, modern TVs are autovolt (it can work from 90v-240v) so check the manual or back panel to confirm. The most deadly part of the surge is it can hit more than 500v at a split of a second, damaging your TV's switching power supply. The TV's power supply is bad. it cannot produce the proper voltage to power your TV. thats why its on standby. Bring it to your dealer for proper advice on the status of your TV.
Power surges will attack every board in the unit, it is possible that they discovered that more boards were affected then could be changed for a reasonable cost. These tv's are not component level repair, but board level repair. There is no easy or good solution when a set has been severely damaged by a power surge. The best answer is usually to replace the tv. Also power surges are covered under most homeowners insurance.
