Question about Vivitar ViviCam 3735 Digital Camera
Can't seem to find parts list on web, whats the big mystery?
These guys claim to carry the parts for the i832, but unfortunately don't list what they have exactly. Contact them and see if they would send you a new battery door, but I think they will unfortunately require you to send the camera to them for service; http://www.precisioncamera.com/camera-repair-parts.html Hope you get something from them, there are no parts lists as such, the camera manufacturers have decided to sell parts only to authorised service centres, not to individuals, as amateur repairs often cause cameras more problems, making the products seem unreliable. No mystery, and not due to them being money grabbing - they just want people to think their cameras are good. Another thing to try is to go to any camera shops near you, see if they have any un-repairable i832s that you could cannibalise for parts, sometimes they will give these for free if you ask nicely enough. Hope this helps :)

Held the door in an open position, poured a teaspoon of clear, 5- ton epoxy (on the outside only!) and let harden overnight. Trimmed up the excess with a razor knife. Works and looks pretty good so far, but would prefer a new door. Cheap design to start with; we will never buy another Polaroid brand again. This camera was way too expensive to have such cheap parts.

Tape won't hold, there is too much pressure by the batteries.
I tried a flat strip of wood, and a short bolt into the tripod attach hole. Ugly, but functional.

If there are no parts available - there will be no lists. Cameras are made in such a way that repairing them is next to impossible. Mend the Broken battery door by any means at your disposal - i.e. adhesive tape.

Nor will you - Simply tape it up the the body of the camera.

Tips for a great answer:
Dec 08, 2017 | Ovens
Mar 04, 2014 | Samsung RF4287HARS - 28 cu. ft. French...
If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, list
of Dealers for spare part supplies as required.
Just Google the manufacturer's name and
follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's
web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they
charge for the information that is normally free of charge.
I hope this helps.
