Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Roll back driver.

Right click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager. Choose device. It should be in sound. Right click > Properties. Driver tab and Roll Back Driver.

System Restore option.
Start > Search. Type System Restore. Use the wizard by choosing a date prior to the upgrade.

You could also check with Dolby for previous and correct driver.

No webcam icon for my HP dv 1603 tn laptop and no audio after upgrade to wndows 7. please help me.. thanks

If you did a retail or OEM upgrade to Win7, you are likely missing the drivers necessary to run your webcam and audio. Click on the Start pearl on the bottom left corner, then right-click on Computer. In the context menu, choose Manage. A window should appear. On the left side of that window, click Device Manager. Information should populate in the right hand pane. If you see any devices with a yellow icon, you are missing drivers for these devices. In order to download those drivers, first go to HP's Support Page for the Mini 1000 and choose your specific model number. Then, make sure you choose Win 7 as your Operating System. Look for the webcam and audio drivers, as well as any other missing drivers you've found in Device Manager, and download and install them.

Have you checked your device manager? Make sure you have installed the right driver for you computer. I suggest you try to upgrade drivers for your computer first, then visit HP's website to check if there's any firmware upgrade for you machine. Feel free to visit DigitalSupportTech for getting help.

Go to the above site and download the UAA drivers and install them
then go to device drivers and Upgrade sound driver it will go on net to find and install them
Without the UAA drivers your sound driver will not be recognised

I had to do this to my compaq and it found the drivers through upgrade
Please post fixya for me
