Question about Epson Stylus Photo R320 InkJet Printer
Something has fallen into my printer; model R320. I believe it has cause a miss alignment or something. I have tuened the printer up-side-down and an earring and a pen cap has fallen out. However, the printer still makes a loud noise, as something is still jammed in there. I would like to take it a part, I just want to be able to put it back together... correctly!
Unfortunately the R320 is like many Epson inkjets in that, once you start taking it apart you run the risk of knocking the main unit out of alignment and when/if that happens you need a service center to get it realigned.
Chances are there is still something trapped down the paper input tray as this is a favourite location for stuff to fall in (entire bowl of Pot Pourri was my favourite!! :) ) so perhaps a little careful examination of that area with a strong light and some long tweezers are in order.
Failing that you could try locating a service manual and try taking the back portion of the case off but as I said, be careful as you may just brick the printer.
Good luck and hope that helps somewhat.
