Problem for Sony Handycam DCR-TRV730 Digital-8 Digital Camcorder
Menu select dial problem
my sony DCR-TRV730 camcorder has an unusal problem:
Menu sel/exec dial will only select 'Preset Titles'. The only wat to get into the menu is via the menu button when thst LCD panel is open,and the only way to execute an option is via the 'push exec' button. Is there a simple way to solve this or am I forced to live with this problem.

- Same probelm but even the exec button will not work.Can not go into any menue
Pressing the selection wheel from any meue go's to the title main menue and again no selection possible
Have reset the TRC730 3 times- TomOToole

It will not let me out of the title area. The menu will only show me the option under the different headings but will not go to the format section nor other sun sections. Have tried a new memory stick and get the fast blinking error with the new one too.

-- On my TRC740 no matter what choice I make (cam, memory, etc) I get the Title options and can't select them either - am sent back, pushing up the select dail no longer gets me anywhere. Can not format my memory card (even bought a new one). A dead end in the menu.

- The camera works but can't use/format the memory stick and any attempt to use the menu sends me to select titles ( and can't do that).May 01, 2008
