Question about Zebra Eltron LP 2824 Thermal Printer
Have performed dump and ensure that it is in page made and that it finally comes out of dump mode.
Will print perhaps 4 - 6 labels and then stop with red light. Click on button and it advances another label (sometimes skipping a label or two).
This can even occur in the dump mode! ie it starts page feeding and then half prints the dunp message and then red light. Click on it and it reprints dump message and then continues on.
Another printer works OK so I do not think this is driver related however is there another settings that will "hard boot" the printer? Anyone got ideas on what it might be?
You could also send the EPL command.
^default (use the DOS editor)
Download latest firmware file from zebra websiten copy it to printer using dos command. This will automatically reset the 2824.
Connect to a PC via parallel port.
