Question about Zebra Symbol Technologies MC909X-G Series Barcode Scanner
I had the same problem and I did a cold boot and the wireless icon showed on on the 'desktop' and I was able to use it again.
to do a cold boot, turn off the unit, remove the battery, pull the trigger and hold the power button for 5 seconds or so, and put the battery back in.

Goto Settings -> Connections -> Wireless Manager and enable the Wi-Fi. Now try FindWAN.

Rebooting while an ActiveSync connection is made can cause Adapter Unavailable to be reported after the reboot is complete until either ActiveSync is connected again, or the date is manually changed.
